Britney Spears is set to try her hand at acting again, following the success she enjoyed in 2002 with ‘Crossroads’, and is currently in negotiations to star in a new movie titled ‘The Yellow Star of Sophia and Eton’.

The 27 year old singer, who is currently on her ‘Circus’ world tour, would play the lead role of Sophie Lamont. The storyline tells of when Sophie invents a time machine and travels back to World War II where she meets a Jewish man called Eton at a concentration camp. The couple fall deeply in love and decide to try to return to Sophia’s time in order to marry.

If negotiations are successful, the movie should start to shoot in September when Spears completes the second part of her North America tour.
